Book-sharing Under Attack

Here in Shreveport, Louisiana, little free libraries are under attack.

What is a little free library?

It's an adorable little book holder that allows used books to be passed onto new readers. All for free. No commercial activity.

But in Sheveport, the zoning laws are antiquated. According to a statement released by the city, they are "in the process of massive rewrite of these antiquated codes and ordinances. This has not been done since 1953!"

Well. We will see. In the meantime, we don't live inside city limits. So the Shreveport Times donated old magazine holders to the Little Free Library of Shreveport. They offered them for free.... so I got one!

Currently, there are two books in it. I might make it a seed sharing spot too! DVDs and CDs are welcome too.
