We have a pile of dirt out back that was a barn. It burned down in an accident before we moved in. My husband smoothed all the dirt down, dug out the bricks , and sawed off the re bar that was in there. Now it is a outdoor slab area with plenty of bare dirt for gardening. One problem is the rusted nails in there. So Mr . Deering bought a handy magnet on a stick. I'm sure there is a real name for it. It's my new favorite toy! It's like a metal detector that picks stuff up! I've got s mop bucket full of rusted metal now. So much fun.
